It
was more than 45°C in the helicopter
cockpit as Rajiv Gandhi and his entourage
campaigned in the 1991 elections in
Rajasthan. Everyone perspired, drank
lots of |
| liquid and wiped their brows,
but not pilot Capt.Trehan as his hands
and mind were occupied. An ever watchful
Rajiv himself wiped Capt.Trehan's
face with tissue paper and then held
a water bottle at his mouth for his
thirsty pilot to drink. |
