NCC Cadets started jumping from the plane at an altitude of 5000 feet. Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi also jumped from the plane and landed safely smiling with the young NCC cadets. His security personnels were relieved when they saw Prime Minister landed safely. This was his spirit of adventure, which he always enjoyed. He commented that "I never imagined 5000 ft was so high."
